Cast Member

City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and small-group tutoring in core subjects
• Offer one-on-one mentoring to help students set and reach goals
• Support students' social-emotional development and positive behavior
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to align student support
• Help plan and lead after-school or enrichment programs and activities
• Track and report student progress using City Year tools and guidance
• Engage with families and community partners when appropriate
• Participate in City Year training, reflection, and leadership development
• Model professionalism, inclusivity, and a growth mindset
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative Ameri
• Corps team culture
