SAHAL SERVICES LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Support Professional / School-Based Caregiver to join our team in Carroll, OH. Responsibilities:- Provide direct care and support to students with diverse needs throughout the school day
- Assist students with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student goals
- Monitor student behavior and implement positive behavioral support strategies
- Document and report student progress, incidents, and observations to appropriate personnel
- Facilitate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom and school environment
- Provide crisis intervention and de‑escalation support when necessary
- Experience in caregiving, paraprofessional support, special education, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work patiently and effectively with students of varying abilities and needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or CDA a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass a background check in accordance with school and state requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent presence for students
