ELA General Education Teacher | Columbus, Ohio

We're seeking a dedicated ELA educator to join a collaborative setting, fostering critical reading, writing, and communication skills in a diverse student population. Youll have the opportunity to design engaging lessons, participate in school activities, and support individual academic growth as part of a supportive faculty team.

• Valid teaching certification in English Language Arts (Grades 68 preferred)
• Demonstrated experience teaching Middle School ELA or comparable subject area
• Strong command of instructional strategies that promote student engagement and comprehension
• Commitment to cultivating an inclusive and supportive classroom culture
• Excellent organizational, communication, and classroom management skills

• Deliver creative, standards-based ELA instruction to middle school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals
• Assess student progress, providing timely feedback and differentiated support
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to address students academic needs
• Utilize educational technology and materials to enhance learning
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives

This is a full-time contract position, with a schedule of 36.25 hours per week and a start date as soon as possible for the full  school year.
