Job Description:

• Lead in promoting client safety culture

• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations

• 2-5 years' experience in safety related job experience

• Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues

• Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols

• Assist in the monitoring of subcontractor safety performance.

• Reporting and documentation of all related policy/procedure/incidents

• Strong communication skills/'customer facing' skills

• Conduct regular jobsite and work area inspections, noting safety violations and corrective actions.

• Thoroughly investigate all incidents (including near miss, injury, property damage, general liability) immediately and perform root cause analysis.

• Assist project teams in identifying hazards and implementing controls.

• Immediately address safety violations at job site(s).

• Assist Project Superintendents in establishing, implementing, and monitoring jobsite emergency action plans

• Prior safety or related experience in trades, construction, commercial environments preferred

• Osha
10 or higher preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Full PPE (hardhat, vest, boots, gloves, glasses) required

• Prior safety related certifications preferred

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required

• Prior experience/trained in confined space, first aid/CPR, lift aerial, mobile platform etc.
