Outages & Maintenance Manager; Utilities

Take charge of high-impact energy operations and lead a skilled team in restoring service and maintaining advanced electrical systems across multifamily communities.

Salary $100,000 - $140,000 per year

• Manages preventative maintenance and quality control for electrical distribution systems and equipment.
• Manages emergency repairs to medium-voltage electrical distribution systems and site lighting systems.
• Assists with site assessments at existing communities being considered for conversion to submetering.
• Assists with developing and maintaining a vendor database and effectively communicates with vendors regarding outages.
• Participates as part of department rotation for 24/7 emergency outage response; communicates to response team and manages repairs as required.
• Supervises electrical maintenance employees.
• Maintains excellent safety standards and encourages a zero-accident culture.
• Executes department safety plan including regular equipment inspections.
• Performs other related duties and/or projects as assigned.

• 4+ years' experience with low, medium, and high voltage electrical environments
• Experience supervising and leading team members
• Experience with in the utility industry and energy markets
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Ability to present written and oral communication in a clear and concise manner
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license; CDL preferred, but not required
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
