Cardinal Acoustics is a fast-growing manufacturer of custom architectural acoustical products used in commercial construction projects across North America. We partner with architects, distributors, and subcontractors to deliver precision-fabricated wood wool acoustic systems for schools, offices, healthcare facilities, and public spaces.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Commercial Project Coordinator to support projects from initial quotation through production and completion.
This is a high-impact role that sits at the center of sales, operations, and customer communication.
Position OverviewThe Commercial Project Coordinator is responsible for:
- Communicating with distributors and subcontractors
- Tracking projects from award through production
This position ensures our projects move efficiently and accurately from concept to completion.
Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Construction & Quoting
- Review project drawings and specifications
- Prepare and issue quotes based on company pricing structure
- Coordinate with Sales and Operations to ensure scope accuracy
- Log and track all quote activity in internal systems
- Follow up on outstanding quotes
Project Coordination
- Transition awarded projects into production
- Create and manage job documentation
- Coordinate internally with Production and Scheduling
- Monitor project timelines and lead times
Customer & Field Support
- Serve as primary point of contact for distributors and subcontractors
- Respond to technical or installation questions
- Escalate complex issues to internal leadership when necessary
Documentation & Organization
- Ensure latest drawings and revisions are tracked
- Assist in continuous improvement of internal systems and processes
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, architectural products, manufacturing, or project coordination
- Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline
- Ability to read construction drawings (preferred)
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Not responsible for pricing approvals or margin protection
- Not an operations management role
This is a coordination-driven, execution-focused position that keeps projects moving forward.
Salary range: $60,000 - $72,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
