Safety Coordinator

Overview

We're seeking Safety Coordinators to support high-visibility data center projects across multiple Columbus-area sites. Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of safety-adjacent experience or direct safety roles in construction, or manufacturing environments. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential for individuals passionate about workplace safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day site safety operations
• Maintain documentation and safety compliance records
• Assist with onboarding safety practices for new personnel
• Monitor low-level risks in a data center environment
• Partner with technicians, contractors, and leadership to foster a safety-first culture
• Report and file incidents, assist in investigations if needed
• Ensure PPE and site safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 1–2 years in a safety-related or adjacent role within the past 5 years
  • EMTs, construction safety, healthcare, and manufacturing experience highly encouraged
• Certifications:
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and comfortable with administrative tasks
  • Eagerness to grow into a long-term safety-focused role
