Field Service Engineer - Columbus, OH

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for providing front‑line technical service and support to customers while delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction. This home‑based role supports customers throughout the Greater Columbus, OH area with regional travel.

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Videojet coding and marking equipment at customer facilities.
• Travel throughout the greater Columbus region to support manufacturing customers, with most work completed during the day and limited overnight travel.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues and deliver effective, timely solutions.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers by acting as a technical advisor and problem solver.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities to promote service agreements and newer technology solutions.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Up to two years of technical, mechanical, electrical, or field service experience.
• Basic computer and technical proficiency (email, mobile applications, Microsoft Word).
• Ability to comply with customer safety requirements, PPE standards, and site access policies.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a company vehicle.

US ONLY – The compensation range for this role is $26.00 – $30.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
