Revit Electrical Lead Modeler
We are seeking an experienced Revit Electrical Lead Modeler to take ownership of the BIM model on assigned projects from kickoff through coordination closeout. The Lead Modeler is the primary BIM point of contact on the project — responsible for model quality, coordination execution, and direct interface with project management and field teams. This role also directs the work of Support Modelers and plays a key role in developing our ‘Associate’ team members.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Revit electrical modeler in a BIM coordination environment
- Strong proficiency in Revit, eVolve MEP, AUTODESK Forma, and Navisworks Manage
- Experience coordinating with multiple trades in a BIM environment
- Strong understanding of electrical construction, installation sequencing, and prefabrication processes
- Ability to direct, review, and mentor Associate and Support Modelers
- Strong communication skills with project managers, general foremen, and trade partners
- Ability to manage project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
- Own the Revit electrical model from project kickoff through coordination closeout
- Set up the project model per H&B standards, including templates, work-sets, shared coordinates, and ACC folder structure
- Maintain model quality and health throughout the full project lifecycle
- Conduct model reviews and quality checks for compliance with standards and project requirements
- Manage all model revisions and ensure documentation is current and complete
- Develop the model with the intent and capability to support prefabrication of conduits, equipment, and raceways
- Lead trade coordination meetings and manage conflict resolution with design team and trade partners — early and proactively
- Produce and manage coordination deliverables on schedule
- Identify and resolve clashes, and present well-thought-out, cost-effective solutions
- Direct and review the work of Associate and Support Modelers assigned to the project
- Provide guidance and feedback on modeling standards, techniques, and H&B workflows
- Complete project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule
- Communicate project status regularly to the Branch BIM Lead and project management team
- Participate in project kickoff, weekly coordination, and closeout meetings
- Serve as the primary BIM point of contact for the project manager, general foreman, and trade partners
- Communicate model updates, coordination status, and field issues clearly and consistently
- Maintain a strong understanding of the electrical construction industry, installation processes, and prefabrication workflows
This work mainly operates within a professional office setting; this professionalism extends to project sites when working there is needed. All opinions and ideas shall be presented in a positive and respectful manner. The general use of standard office equipment such as computers, laptops, phones, photocopiers, plotters, filing cabinets, and similar technology should be expected.
Salary Range$95,000 - $145,000
