- Review facility energy usage daily and provide guidance, best practices, and operational modifications
- Mentor the owner on energy strategies
- Manage Central Energy Plant operations and maintenance, including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers
- Manage Central Energy Plant maintenance reserve accounts
- Work with operators to ensure efficient plant operation
- Provide ongoing training for Plant Operators
- Develop and maintain the Plant Operating Manual
- Assist the EPC team with coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction activities with OMC operations
- Coordinate on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services
- Manage one or multiple teams consisting of one or more Asset Managers
- 4+ years of experience managing multiple sites and/or multiple Assistant Asset Manager/Asset Manager I/II roles, or managing a central plant or facility, or mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant
- Well versed in building codes and associated standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary
- 10–25% travel to job sites/office location
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to work in tight and confined spaces
- Ability to remain stationary, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Preferred: 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
- Preferred: PE, or FE and working toward obtaining PE
Demonstrates expertise in managing Central Energy Plant operations, including maintenance and team leadership, while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. Proficient in providing training, guidance, and operational modifications to optimize energy usage and plant efficiency.
