- Drive the transition from reactive to proactive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned to critical assets.
- Improve asset reliability, MTBF, MTTR, and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Own equipment failure analysis, root cause problem solving, and corrective action implementation.
- Lead engineering support for equipment upgrades, new installations, and capital projects.
- Ensure TPM and maintainability principles are embedded in new equipment design and commissioning.
- Manage capital budgets, project timelines, and vendor relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians, engineers, and reliability resources.
- Build technical capability through structured training programs and skills matrices.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Operations to enable operator‑led maintenance and equipment ownership.
- Ensure maintenance and engineering practices meet all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality objectives through equipment capability, calibration, and standardization.
- Define and track KPIs including OEE, downtime, PM compliance, maintenance cost, and reliability metrics.
- Use data to drive decision‑making, prioritize work, and demonstrate TPM impact.
- Report progress and performance to site and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance, engineering, or reliability leadership.
- Proven experience building or leading a TPM program, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing, CI tools, and structured problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cultural change and influence cross‑functional teams.
- TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and predictive maintenance technologies.
