At Atlas, we’re providing services that enable communities to flourish and thrive. We are looking to hire an Environmental Field Technician (EIR Technician
1) to join our Columbus, OH team. The purpose of this role is to provide primarily outdoor field support for retail petroleum environmental projects across Ohio. - Provide field and office support for retail petroleum environmental projects.
- Role will be 95% field work (outside, in various weather conditions) requiring travel across the state of Ohio.
- May be asked to work extended hours, when required and on short notice.
- Construction related field events
- Candidate must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50lbs, several times per day.
- Due to client requirements, the candidate must pass a company background check, including driving record and drug screening.
- High School diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related degree preferred.
- No experience required.
- Valid driver's license required as field work and local site travel is involved.
- Ability to enter, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form is a must.
- Ability to communicate with contractors and staff effectively and professionally.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects with minimal supervision to meet established deadlines.
- Competent computer and mobile device knowledge including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel throughout the state of Ohio, 95% of the time, and work independently.
