Project Manager
Location:
Columbus, OH (on site)
We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, execute, and deliver structural engineering projects. This role focuses on scope, schedule, and budget management; client coordination; risk mitigation; and cross-disciplinary communication to ensure smooth delivery and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is organized, solutions-oriented, and effective at balancing quality, timelines, and resources.
Responsibilities- Develop project plans, budgets, staffing, and resource allocations.
- Prepare fee proposals and coordinate scopes and contracts with internal/external teams.
- Plan and conduct internal/external project meetings; document decisions and actions.
- Monitor milestones, deadlines, and profitability targets; manage scope changes.
- Oversee QA/QC, constructability reviews, and coordination with other disciplines.
- Support client relationships and represent the firm professionally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred)
- PE licensure or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 6+ years of structural engineering experience, including project coordination.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
