Under indirect supervision performs advanced level installation, maintenance and repair of various Telecommunications and IT related equipment using accepted practices and procedures.

• Perform advanced installation, system testing, troubleshooting, issue resolution. Produce required documentation.
• Work to gain advanced knowledge and understanding of various Telecommunications and IT technologies and business processes.
• Create procedures to solve standard and advanced problems.
• Participate in cross-training of various telecommunications and IT systems.
• Acquire an understanding of business unit and customer requirements.
• Work in database and record keeping systems for work and asset tracking.

• Must exhibit a positive, collaborative attitude working in a team environment.
• Must be accountable for one's own work and advancement.
• All above activities will be performed with an emphasis on safety for yourself and others.
• Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience: In addition to any experience required above, 4 years technical or relevant work experience is required.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
