Job Title: Integrity Management Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Must be local to Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, or Columbus, Ohio
Work Schedule: In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays (Tues/Wed/Thurs starting September)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $40 - 60/hr
Employment Type: W2 Only
We are seeking an experienced Integrity Management Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of asset management programs within a gas utility environment. This hybrid position requires in-office collaboration and supports risk-based decision‑making, project tracking, and regulatory compliance. Candidates must bring strong technical, analytical, and communication skills with a proven track record in the gas utility sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage multi‑year capital and expense‑based asset management programs
- Monitor project performance, scope, and cost, and initiate corrective actions when necessary
- Analyze mitigation program costs and support cost‑reduction efforts
- Forecast requirements and assess risks and contingencies
- Track KPIs and drive continual improvement
- Deliver executive‑level presentations to internal stakeholders
- Interpret data trends and incorporate them into asset planning strategies
- Occasionally travel to field facilities as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in gas utility project management or engineering
- Strong understanding of gas utility and field operations
- Experience with data analysis, risk assessment, and asset performance evaluation
- Familiarity with project controls, portfolio management, and project design
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Power BI
- Knowledge of DIMP/TIMP or integrity programs in the utility or petrochemical industries
- Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of gas system design, flow, emergency response, and relevant safety regulations
