We are hiring for a great utility construction company! In this role you will work as a CAD Drafter to map fiber, telecommunication, and utility lines. This is a contract-to-hire job opportunity. This role requires you to be in office 5 days a week. You may be eligible for hybrid WFH once you join the team permanently.
Requirements & Qualifications- Proficiency in AutoCAD, due to utilization within course work or through employment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Experience reading blueprints, conduit prints and floor plans.
- Experience reading permits and setting up traffic control.
- Two years of experience.
- Base-mapping, GIS and layering, fundamental knowledge of Outside Plant, running line, conduit and cable design for copper, fiber optics, coax, manholes, hand holes, Make-Ready Engineering and poles (aerial and underground).
- Site surveys, translating field notes to develop and update conduit/ cable engineering design drawings in AutoCAD.
