Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer / Electrical Designer to support continued growth within a mechanical and electrical consulting engineering environment. This role provides hands‑on experience across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities- Develop electrical system designs across a variety of project types
- Apply engineering principles to power distribution, grounding, lighting systems, controls, and equipment selection
- Prepare schematics and technical drawings for electrical systems
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Conduct on‑site investigations to verify existing conditions
Assist in preparing electrical specifications and documentation - Review design work for accuracy and code compliance
- Stay current with applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Build professional relationships with consultants, manufacturers, and project stakeholders
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of electrical system materials, components, and design principles
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to perform calculations and apply engineering mathematics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Revit preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team‑based environment
