Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer / Electrical Designer to support continued growth within a mechanical and electrical consulting engineering environment. This role provides hands‑on experience across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, institutional, and industrial projects.

The position offers strong growth potential and is ideal for a motivated professional looking to expand technical expertise while working in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical system designs across a variety of project types
  • Apply engineering principles to power distribution, grounding, lighting systems, controls, and equipment selection
  • Prepare schematics and technical drawings for electrical systems
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and mechanical disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
  • Conduct on‑site investigations to verify existing conditions

    Assist in preparing electrical specifications and documentation
  • Review design work for accuracy and code compliance
  • Stay current with applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices
  • Build professional relationships with consultants, manufacturers, and project stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Working knowledge of electrical system materials, components, and design principles
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to perform calculations and apply engineering mathematics
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Revit preferred but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team‑based environment
