Overview
The FM Technical Specialist will assist the Gilbane FMS Technical Consultant on space/equipment data collection, formatting and preparation for upload into the Customer’s Maintenance Management system.
Ability to travel required, approximately 60% of job locations will require travel.
Responsibilities- Perform field surveys of rooms and equipment in new and existing buildings.
- Use 360 cameras, Matterport cameras and iPad/cell phones in the data collection process.
- Access equipment at various heights, using ladders and lifts as needed (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety rules on job sites.
- Format the data collected, using tools like MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
- Use construction drawings to locate/identify rooms/equipment on the job sites.
- Other duties as assigned.

- AAS in Architectural/Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions of Technical Consultants.
- Ability to travel, approximately 60% of job locations will require travel.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Access and other data formatting/processing tools.
- Proficiency with MS Project and MS Visio.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.
- Ability to read engineering/construction drawings.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines for construction sites.
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
The pay ranges from $50,000.00-$60,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
