Position: Computational Fluid Dynamic Engineer – Mission Critical (Multiple Locations)

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead CFD analysis of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.
  • Apply knowledge of commonly used CFD concepts, practices, and procedures within the CFD services industry.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to complex projects, find non‑standard design solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical reports for clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction goals and expectations are met.
  • Adhere to QA/QC processes.
  • Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
  • Review engineering team design information pertaining to CFD analysis detail modelling requirements.
  • Advise on modelling information exchange needs by dates.
  • Conduct wind speed and weather probability analysis.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience (consulting preferred) required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program, successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and 3 years of mechanical engineering experience (consulting preferred) required.
  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of mechanical engineering experience (consulting preferred) required.
  • Strong knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem‑solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D Rendering Programs, hydraulic analysis, and HVAC analysis programs.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem‑solving skills.
  • Engineers in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
Compensation

$– yearly. The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year‑end incentive bonus program.
