Here’s what you’ll be doing:- Preparing cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports.
- Developing Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options.
- Identifying risks, supporting risk registers, and contributing to pre-contract and procurement processes.
- Attending client and design team meetings, advising on cost implications, and capturing key actions.
- Assisting with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals.
- Contributing to project templates, drafting qualification questionnaires, and taking on additional duties as required.
- Working onsite at client locations to ensure effective delivery and foster client relationships.
- Engaging in collaborative and in-person time with clients and colleagues to build connections and enhance learning.
The compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 per year, depending on various factors including your specific role, skill set, and level of experience.
To be considered for this position, you will need:- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying.
- Proficiency with advanced CostX functions to create accurate estimates and bills.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Competence in contract preparation and post-contract administration.
- Project close-out skills.
- A team player mentality with good verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Experience with data centers or similar mission‑critical projects.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- MRICS status.
- Knowledge of current construction technologies and trends, particularly in sustainability.
- Field experience in relevant construction projects.
