Supports a broad range of moderately complex projects (design, implementation, etc.). Projects could range from new equipment, procurement and installation; machine safety improvements; maintenance projects; equipment enhancement; new products; sales support, training support, etc. Projects may be small stand-alone projects or portions of a larger project with the larger project being managed by others. Also troubleshoots current production equipment/processes for maximum quality throughput.
Generates cost savings ideas throughout facility.

* Successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with required functionality
* Effective monitoring and communication of project cost and schedule to stakeholders
* Accurate integration of new systems and equipment
* Proactive risk identification and mitigation throughout the project timeline
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
* Define project scope and objectives
* Develop and manage project budgets and schedules
* Identify and manage project risks and issues
* Communicate project status and performance metrics to stakeholders
Stakeholder Communication
* Provide clear and consistent updates on project status and key metrics
Technical Support
* Troubleshoot and support production equipment and processes
* Provide technical assistance to Sales and other departments
Other Duties
* Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills & Competencies
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
* Experience with product and process design techniques (APQP, Flow Charts, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, etc.)
* Intermediate knowledge of machine design and operating principles
* Intermediate knowledge of machine repair and troubleshooting practices
* Proficiency in CAD, PC systems, and PLCs
* Hands-on, independent contributor who thrives in team environments
* Ability to travel 25-50%
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience
* Project management training preferred (MS Project, Gantt charts, PM methodologies, etc.)
