Civil Engineering - Project Manager

Job Description

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Columbus, OH office, you will work closely with our Principals in the civil/site practice to plan and execute projects within the private, public and energy sectors. You will communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, coordinate with other practices (including environmental, ecological and surveying), manage and mentor staff, and attend industry organization and client meetings.

Plan and execute civil engineering projects; oversee proposal development; review technical deliverables; engage clients; build networking opportunities; develop business; mentor junior staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years of experience
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
• Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverables
• Experience preparing proposals and overseeing end‑to‑end project execution
• Proven success in client engagement, networking, and business development
• Ability and desire to mentor staff
