Senior Bridge Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead technical direction on transportation design projects, with expertise in structural planning, analysis, and design for bridges. The role includes overseeing project quality, schedule, and budget; building relationships with clients; and acting as a key liaison between clients and the global bridge engineering team.

• Plan, analyze, and design bridge projects; prepare plans, specifications, conduct inspections, write reports.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise on high‑profile transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ensure project quality, schedule, and budget; manage project activities and resources.
• Serve as the primary contact between clients, the global bridge engineering team, and partners.
• Participate in technical societies and attend meetings or events outside normal working hours.
• Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring effective teamwork.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio or ability to obtain Ohio license within 6 months of employment.
• Substantial progressive experience on a variety of bridge types (steel, prestressed concrete, curved, skewed, long‑span), including analysis, design, and plan development for new and rehabilitation projects.
• Considerable experience on large, multidisciplinary bridge design projects.
• Previous experience with Design‑Build (DB) projects.
• Advanced working knowledge of Micro Station, Excel, Math Cad, structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP
  2000, CSi‑Bridge, LPILE, MDX, Leap Bridge, LARSA).
• Experience mentoring engineering staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
