We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Engineer 3 within the Division of Mineral Resources Management. Job Description
  • Supervise lower-level Natural Resources Engineer(s) and Natural Resources Engineer Technician(s).
  • Produce and/or review Engineer sealed plan sets and bid documents for construction.
  • Provide technical assistance for development on future and current Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) projects sites.
  • Assist with development and implementation of engineering procedures/policies.
  • Act as a project manager for assigned projects.

Starting hourly pay of $39.22/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service, with an end salary of $55.99/hr there may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to Pay Rate and Longevity Tables. Department of Administrative Services.

Qualifications

Certificate of registration as professional engineer issued by State Licensing Board AND 12 months experience as Natural Resources Engineer 2, 85742 or 12 months equivalent related engineering experience.

Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure.
