WhatYou'll Do
- Complete assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
- Assist in the development of project specifications.
- Develop discipline‑specific engineering project elements such as reports, designs, and plans.
- Aid in the coordination and productivity of project team members.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members.
- Work closely with other disciplines and on multi‑discipline projects.
- Perform quality control reviews of discipline‑specific engineering project elements.
- Assist with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience.
- PhD in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Optimize work processes by using knowledge of the most effective and efficient ways to get things done with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Independently progress the majority of designs and tasks required of the discipline.
- Exhibit experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and Micro Station and/or AutoCAD.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the application of engineering, geometric and algebraic principles.
- Manage time, proactively forecast, and communicate project development needs.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- AICP certification (depending on discipline).
- Knowledge of Micro Station and Open Roads Designer software.
- Knowledge of structural/bridge analysis and design software such as CSI Bridge, LARSA, FB Multi
PIer, LPIle, MDX, Open Bridge Designer and other tools.

The approximate pay range for Ohio is $83,373.48 - $. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
