- Airframe and Powerplant mechanic license issued by FAA
- Valid driver's license
- DOT identified safety-sensitive position: subject to DOT pre‑employment and random drug testing
- FAA Inspection Authorization
- Knowledge of safety practices; skill in mechanics, operating ground equipment, operating aircraft; ability to understand aircraft mechanical systems; calculate fractions, decimals and percentages; read simple sentences with common vocabulary; cooperate with co‑workers; show dexterity
