Civil Engineer (PE or EIT) – Land/Site Development Projects

Arcadis seeks a Project Civil Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. In this hybrid role, you will work on dynamic and complex civil development projects including hospitals, airports, residential neighborhoods, shopping centers, and educational campuses. You will bring strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative solutions.

• Prepare site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater systems, and utility layouts
• Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and project documentation

• 3 or more years working in land development or site civil projects
• Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• EIT or PE certification preferred
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and related tools
• Strong knowledge of zoning, permitting, and regulatory processes
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Commitment to health and safety

Salary range: $68,187 to $112,000 (actual salaries vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location).
