Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily jobsite activities
• Procure materials and subcontractor services
• Work with the Project Engineer to manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and close-out documentation
• Coordinate timely material deliveries with the Job Foreman
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and verify topographic accuracy
• Manage drawing/specification updates and As-Built documentation
• Administer subcontracts and purchase orders
• Obtain permits, schedule third-party inspections, and manage OUPS notifications
• Attend and contribute to weekly project meetings
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers
• Collaborate with Estimating during the bid and negotiation process
• Work with Accounting to prepare and submit monthly pay applications

• 4–5 years of relevant project management experience
• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and manage documentation
  
  Team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and demonstrates a strong work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
