Bridge Design Engineer

Entry Level Bridge Engineer

Our client is a large regional engineering consulting firm with a 75 year track record of growth and award-winning projects. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Entry Level Bridge Engineer for our Cincinnati, OH and Columbus, OH offices. Will be involved in projects with our Transportation Team and be a part of a growing organization that delivers important bridge infrastructure for our Ohio and national clients.

Primary Functions Include:

• Perform bridge related computations and analysis
• Support the preparation of design plans, cost estimates and special provisions
• Collect data, gather information, produce documents and reports
• Attend design meetings and coordinate with team members
• Develop memorandums and other written technical documents
• Work with cross-functional teams in executing project work.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, professionals, and infrastructure authorities on Federal, State, regional, local, and privately funded improvement and development projects.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0-1 years of relevant post education experience
• Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
