Director of Civil Engineering

Leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Director of Civil Engineering for their Columbus team! Responsibilities include developing, initiating, and implementing a business plan/strategy building, building/maintaining client relationships, assisting with business development opportunities, recruiting/retaining high performing team members, mentoring/training junior staff, interacting and collaborating with other directors and company leaders across Florida and corporate wide, developing, managing, and achieving financial metrics of the group, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth, monitoring/directing project managers to achieve project and financial success overall projects within the group, negotiating contracts, fees, and terms with clients and other partners, and ensuring company high quality design standards are met.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, PE License, 12+ years of Civil design experience, broad civil engineering expertise, an understanding of basic FLA permitting requirements, experience with municipal and other public projects, and experience managing staff/clients. Salary is commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
