HIL Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the more experienced HIL engineer, receiving hands on training and support while helping operate HIL setup.
• Develop test plan for battery validation in cell for Technicians
• Validate Functional Safety requirements on HIL
• Act as the liaison between technicians and the systems team to ensure requirements are validated thoroughly
• Create and document test report in RNnS (Integrity)
• Review test report with the team
• Drive activities independently in a fast paced environment

• CAN communication
• Python scripting for automated test development
• Battery systems experience with understanding of how critical BMs features work example SOC, SOH, power limits, diagnostics
• Diagnostics calibration and validation experience
• Circuit and wiring diagram review understanding
• Tools and UDS protocol experience
