Job DescriptionThe Director, Controls System Integration leads a team of electrical and controls engineers across multiple industries to deliver high‑quality solutions. This role involves capital project support, system integration, client development, and technical oversight.
Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team through the full project life cycle: conception, proposal, specification, development, integration, testing, and start‑up.
- Define complex solutions for multiple system‑integration projects, assigning teams, monitoring progress, and supporting project schedules and resource management.
- Manage client development, risk, and technical oversight while ensuring adherence to project objectives and client expectations.
- Prepare proposals and project documentation, including scope of work, technical standards, and performance metrics.
- Review design deliverables, coordinate lessons learned with discipline leaders, and interface with construction and project teams.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop staff, establishing training objectives and performance strategies.
- Effectively communicate project updates and status to stakeholders.
- Minimum of nine years of combined technical and people‑management experience.
- 10–15 years of experience managing control system integration and capital projects within the industrial sector.
- Strong background in engineering, design, and programming of integrated and automated manufacturing systems in electrical, PLC, and HMI/SCADA domains.
- Proficiency in generating technical reports and delivering group presentations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with team members and clients.
- Willingness to travel for project requirements, including installation, start‑up, training, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred).
