Responsibilities

• Apply entry‑level engineering knowledge to well‑defined problems with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in analyzing more complex projects and demonstrate understanding of relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
• Coordinate work activities of others and support routine engineering tasks under oversight.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and cost estimates using established methods such as CPM, PERT, and flow charts.
• Proactively seek information to solve routine technical problems, present new ideas, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, communicate findings verbally and in writing, and actively listen to instructions.
• Build professional relationships, collaborate with peers, and uphold the values of teamwork and open communication.
• Make routine decisions within authorized limits and provide input to team decision‑making processes.
• Focus on customer satisfaction, environmental responsibility, and economical operation of electrical services.

• Bachelor’s degree in an ABET‑accredited engineering program (or an equivalent technology degree plus an advanced graduate degree).
• New graduate willing to learn quickly and accept coaching from higher‑level staff.
• Must have passed, or be preparing to pass, the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination (preferred for future PE licensing).
• Knowledge of engineering standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the assigned area.
• Proficiency in problem‑solving techniques and basic analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Self‑motivated and willing to assume leadership roles as opportunities arise.
