Job SummaryTechnical SME for project scheduling within the department and will be will be responsible for supporting and providing guidance of the development and analysis of project schedule deliverables. This includes the development and analysis of a wide range of scope of work types, especially complex schedules using the assigned system. Train schedulers and planners so they are technically able to plan, schedule, integrate, baseline, and analyze scopes of work.
EssentialJob Functions & Tasks
- Define activities, duration, work sequences, and relationship logic to develop implement the scope of work plan and develop milestones to represent key decisions and deliverables that take place during execution.
- Provide input and guidance to schedulers in the development of fully integrated system schedules (including resource loading and leveling) for schedules that utilize critical path methodology based on work scope from the work packages and planners work list.
- Responsible for the development of junior schedulers in organizing schedule review meetings with all stakeholders and incorporating appropriate details.
- Engage team and stakeholders to create schedules and provide schedule analysis updates to team, alerting them to schedule risks and issues that could delay milestones. Communicate schedule status to project stakeholders.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with project schedules.
- Own the project schedule standard work processes; leading the development, review, and implementation
- With a qualified Bachelor's degree, eight (8) years' qualified experience required; with a qualified Associate's degree, ten (10) years' qualified experience.
- Qualified degrees must be in a related field from an accredited university or college and could include Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management.
- Scheduling experience in Transmission, Substation, Construction or Engineering preferred.
