Position SummaryPower Stack is seeking aProject Developer
to lead the technical and commercial development of onsite energy infrastructure projects from initial customer engagement through contract execution.
Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and Construction, this role is responsible for evaluating project feasibility, developing technical and financial solutions, coordinating utility and permitting activities, and supporting customers through the development process.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead the development of commercial and industrial solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects from qualification through financial close.
- Evaluate project feasibility, energy production, utility interconnection, permitting requirements, and project economics.
- Develop technical and financial models supporting customer ownership, PPAs, ESAs, and other commercial structures.
- Coordinate engineering, utility, permitting, and third-party development activities.
- Support customer presentations, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
- Monitor emerging technologies, utility programs, and incentive opportunities to improve project economics and customer solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline.
- 3-7 years of commercial or industrial solar project development experience.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, project management, and communication skills.
