Alexander Associates are representing an established engineering consultancy that’s looking to add an experienced Land Development Project Manager to their Columbus team. This position will be heavily involved in the design and management of commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use site development projects across Central Ohio.
Salary: $120,000-$170,000 DOE + Benefits
Job Specifications:Manage the design and delivery of land development and civil/site projects, including:
- Commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use developments
- Site layout, grading and drainage design
- Stormwater management and detention systems
- Water and sanitary sewer utility design
- Roadway, access and associated site infrastructure
- Oversee projects from conceptual and preliminary design through final construction documents
- Manage project budgets, schedules and engineering deliverables
- Coordinate with architects, developers, contractors and other technical disciplines
- Work directly with private development clients, municipalities and local agencies
- Review engineering calculations, plans, specifications and cost estimates
- Support proposals and development of new and existing client relationships
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff
- 5+ years’ experience within Land Development, Civil/Site or Site Development engineering
- Strong background in the design and delivery of private development projects
- Previous project management or significant project delivery experience
- Experience with grading, drainage, stormwater and utility design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of permitting, engineering design and construction documentation
- Client-facing experience with developers, architects and/or municipalities preferred
- Ohio PE license, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline
