Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 6+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on automation and capital project management.
This is not a PLC programming role
. While candidates should have a basic understanding of PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred), the primary focus is on robotic automation
.
Experience with
Fanuc robots is highly preferred
, though candidates with experience on ABB, Kuka, Yaskawa, or similar robotic platforms may also be considered. Manufacturing experience is critical. Candidates must have hands-on exposure to plant environments and understand operational challenges from a manufacturing perspective. Individuals whose experience is limited to office-based engineering work will not be a fit.
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred)
- Associate's degree may be considered with exceptional experience
- 6+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments
- Robotic automation experience (Fanuc strongly preferred)
- Understanding of manufacturing operations and plant environments
- Basic PLC/HMI knowledge (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems
- Working knowledge of machine safety and ergonomics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing suppliers, vendors, and capital projects
Plusses
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
- 6+ years of manufacturing and operations experience
- Experience leading structured capital projects
- Vendor and supplier management expertise
- Experience mentoring project managers or engineering team members
- Experience leading large-scale capital initiatives
- Exposure to R&D and implementation of new manufacturing processes
Day to Day
The Automation Engineer will support the development, integration, and implementation of ADS automation and control systems. This position will focus on designing, deploying, and optimizing automation solutions that improve throughput, safety, and quality while simplifying operations for plant teams.
