• Plan and design duct and MH systems that meet project specifications, safety standards, and client expectations
• Work with clients to determine project scope
• Obtain permits for projects and manage through design, construction, and as-built phases
• Develop electrical underground utility construction systems and single-line diagrams
• Attend project meetings (monthly, weekly, etc.)
• Periodic travel to customer sites including vaults, MH, substations, and related facilities
• Position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex projects while utilizing CAD and design tools in a collaborative environment

• BSEE, BSCE, or equivalent degree with emphasis on underground utility design, construction, and operation
• Experience and/or training with major CAD systems (AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.) for designing underground electrical systems

• 10+ years designing underground low, medium, and high voltage electrical utility systems, including duct and MH systems, transformer vaults, cable, and related underground utility plant
• Demonstrated knowledge of safety and operational procedures for working on and near energized facilities
• Proficiency with NESC, NEC, and related codes and regulations
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
