Title: Package Engineer
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Employment Type: Contract W2
Duration: 6 12+ Months
Rate: $45 $ 50/hr W2
Industry: Pharmaceutical / Nutraceutical
Seeking a Packaging Engineer to support technology transfer, commercialization, and launch of pharmaceutical products in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support packaging transfers, commercialization, line trials, and validation activities.
- Develop packaging specifications and evaluate container closure systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot packaging/manufacturing challenges.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Regulatory, and Development teams.
- Drive packaging process improvements and support product launches.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related scientific field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical packaging engineering/manufacturing.
- Experience with technology transfer, container closure systems, packaging specifications, and validation.
- Strong troubleshooting, risk assessment, project management, and cross-functional skills.
Preferred: Serialization, pallet configurations, packaging line optimization, SAP, Track Wise, or eForms experience.
