Axyde Analytics needs a senior process-safety engineer who can independently assess combustible dust, reactive metals and energetic powder-handling risks in mineral-processing and advanced-materials facilities. Houston is the talent-market anchor; the position is fully remote with authorized travel as needed.
STANDARDS AND TESTSCandidates should be able to apply recognized NFPA/OSHA/CCPS methods; interpret Kst, Pmax, MIE, MEC, MIT and layer-ignition data; and evaluate dust-hazard analyses, inerting, ventilation, bonding/grounding, ignition control, explosion protection/isolation, housekeeping and emergency response. Reactive-metal, hydrogen-evolution, water-reactivity and thermal-runaway experience is highly valued.
DELIVERABLESThe specialist will turn laboratory data and facility evidence into credible hazard scenarios, safeguards, design requirements, operating limits, gap registers and independent acceptance findings.
CANDIDATE EVIDENCERelevant engineering/science degree and normally 15+ years in process safety, fire/explosion protection or reactive-material operations. Please provide examples identifying material, process, test basis, facility scale, your role and corrective outcome. Current government employees or persons unable to perform outside work should not apply.
TERMSRemote, contingent contract with no guaranteed work volume. Selection follows confirmation of résumé use, availability, applicable U.S. eligibility, Level 1/2 travel and OCI/employer restrictions. Rates are discussed later.
