Purpose of Position

The Events Manager, Senior is part of a team that executes over 150+ Customer, Prospect, and internal events annually that focus on customer retention, prospect acquisition and strengthening the bond between the Employee and the Company. The Events Manager, Senior is accountable for the entirety of the event process including conceptualizing, facilitating, executing, and debriefing a broad range of high‑profile events that vary in size from 25 to over 1000 guests.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing individual event budgets, defining requirements for event invitations, event branding on‑site, food and beverage needs, rentals, venue design and layout, décor, entertainment, and security needs—all while ensuring flawless event execution. The Events Manager, Senior leads site and vendor selection, contract negotiations, alliance partner coordination, and program development. The individual must be able to analyze challenges, identify alternative solutions, and assess impacts of proposed actions, implementing recommendations to support event objectives and timelines both leading up to and on‑site sentation of event plans and communication with all levels of leadership, as well as tracking, reviewing, and analyzing events to highlight trends for improvement, are also required.

Fostering relationships with key internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors is critical, as is ensuring timely, customer‑focused, professional responses to requests and inquiries. The role interfaces regularly with Sales, Owner Services, Procurement, Legal, and Company leadership to ensure that event budgeting, strategy, and goals align with organizational objectives. The position requires 35% travel to events country‑wide.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Executes event goals, objectives and specific implementation plans that promote the Net Jets, Inc. brand, including all subsidiaries.
  • Executes and debriefs the largest, most high‑profile planned events with a constant focus on budget parameters and cost‑saving opportunities. Leads site and vendor selection, contract negotiations, alliance partner coordination, and program development.
  • Identifies opportunities, potential conflicts and other issues related to the successful execution of events, and facilitates solutions for any event‑related issues.
  • Executes on‑site event coordination with Sales team and Net Jets Leadership participants.
  • Ensures on‑site budget management and flawless execution.
