CLERK - MUTUEL

Job Summary

Mutuel Tellers sell and cash pari-mutuel tickets.

• Responsible for selling pari-mutuel tickets.
• Ensuring the cash drawer reconciles on a daily basis.
• Understand and practice Family Style Service at all times with all guest and team members.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must have previous cash handling experience, excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.
• Must be committed to 100% customer service and be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to stand / walk / sit for extended periods.
• May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
• Must be at least 18.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively.
• Safely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment.
• Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period.
• Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment.
