Sportsbook Ticket Writer

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide a high level of customer service to anyone who comes into our sports books
• Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board
• Answer all customer questions to the best of your knowledge or seek to find out the answer in a timely manner
• Try to deescalate customer disputes/complaints and escalates to the direct supervisor when needed
• Communicate and promote our menu of sports betting options to customers
• Act in a professional manner, representing William Hill with the highest of standards
• Ensure that all necessary compliance (Title 31) paperwork/documentation is filled out according to company policy and gaming control board standards
• Other duties as assigned

• The ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a time
• Must have basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet,
• Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Must have 21 years of age or older
• Successfully pass a drug screen, background check, and obtain a gaming license
• Must have 1+ years of cash handling experience
• High level of customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including so nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
• Present yourself in a professional manner
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to do simple math
• Understanding and a responsibility to adhere to all compliance requirements set for by the company and the Nevada Gaming Control Board
