- Lead with Expertise: Supervise and mentor a team in the Financial Adjustments and Resolution Department, leveraging knowledge of accounting systems and procedures under the guidance of the Accounts Receivable Manager.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Plan, oversee, and execute fiscal and accounting operations within Financial Adjustments and Resolution to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Support Compliance & Controls: Monitor and maintain robust internal controls, processes, and documentation to uphold financial integrity and compliance standards.
- Own Key Processes: Manage critical functions including Employer Refunds and Prospective Billing & Collections email communications.
- Ensure Accuracy in Refunds: Review and approve manual refund requests in alignment with signature authority guidelines, ensuring timely and precise processing.
- Deliver Insightful Reporting: Create and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports that highlight collection efforts, resolution progress, and process improvements for leadership.

QualificationsCompletion of undergraduate core coursework in accounting; 18 months training or 18 months experience in supervisory principles/techniques; 24 months experience in accounting or in other fiscal/financial activity with experience commensurate with duties to be assigned. Alternatively: undergraduate core coursework in business administration, economics or computer science; 16 semester or 24 quarter hours in accounting, 24 months experience in accounting, billings, collections, payments or reimbursements with related duties;
or 6 months as Accountant/Examiner Supervisor 1, with state government experience. Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
