The FP&A Manager will play a key role in supporting OBM’s financial planning and strategic decision-making. This person will oversee the team that partners across departments to analyze performance, forecast growth, and translate data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys balancing strategic analysis with hands-on problem-solving.
What You’ll Do- Partner with Finance leadership to initiate the processes that drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for multiple business lines.
- Build and maintain financial models that capture performance trends, evaluate new initiatives, and support decision-making across teams.
- Analyze monthly and quarterly results, providing clear explanations of variances and actionable recommendations to improve performance.
- Support leadership with ad hoc reporting and scenario analysis to evaluate growth opportunities, investment returns, and strategic partnerships.
- Create monthly financial summary reports to share with the executive team and owners.
- Prepare board and executive presentations, highlighting key metrics and business insights.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage a growing FP&A team and partner closely with the CFO to define the strategy of the function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business performance drivers.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling to reflect the growth vision of the company to shareholders and leadership.
- Strong experience with data visualization such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator who can translate complex data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP or planning systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities.
