Financial Grants Reporting Administrator
The Ohio Department of Development is seeking a detail oriented and collaborative Financial Grants Reporting Administrator to support the accurate reporting and financial reconciliation of the Department’s federal grant programs. This role is responsible for preparing federal grant reports, performing monthly expenditure and revenue reconciliations, and working closely with program and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
The Financial Grants Reporting Administrator plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of federal grant data and supporting compliance with federal regulations. This role is well suited for a candidate with experience in federal grant reporting and/or familiarity with OAKS. The Financial Grants Reporting Administrator will maintain reporting accuracy, support audit readiness, and contribute to the effective stewardship of public funds that support communities across Ohio.
What you’ll be doing :- Prepares and submits all required federal financial reports for the Department’s grant programs in accordance with award terms and federal reporting requirements.
- Works independently in OAKS to obtain financial data and coordinates with program staff and accounting staff to verify required data and metrics necessary for federal reporting.
- Ensures reporting submissions are complete, accurate, timely, and supported by appropriate documentation prior to review and approval.
- Performs recurring and ongoing reconciliations of grant expenditures and revenues between OAKS, Salesforce, and the federal reporting platforms.
- Works collaboratively with program teams, finance staff, and other state/federal partners to support accurate grant reporting and financial tracking.
- Supports compliance with federal grant requirements, including the Uniform guidance, by following established policies and procedures.

Qualifications- At least 3–5 years of experience in public sector financial management, budgeting, or grants/contracts oversight.
- Experience with financial systems such as OAKS or other ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated understanding of state procurement, budgeting, and compliance processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar workflow/reporting tools is a plus.
