VP of Finance & Corporate Controller - High Growth Company

Hixen Search is leading the search for a high growth investment company, seeking a top level finance & accounting candidate to lead that area of the business while reporting to the partner group.

• Oversight of corporate level financial statement preparation and management reporting
• Prepare and review executive level reporting for the partner group
• Oversight of corporate level month-end close work including review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage Accounting Operations (AP, AR, Payroll), including leading the Director of Accounting Ops
• Oversee a team of five+ professionals
• Conduct monthly financial analysis
• Review key financial metrics with the leadership team
• Perform analysis and planning on growth
• Serve as a valued member of the leadership team

• 10-15 years of accounting experience; ideally with a combination of public accounting and corporate general ledger experience
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA is a plus
• Industry related experience in PE or investment firms
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with financial statements and month-end close
• Experience overseeing AP, AR, Payroll
• Experience working with distribution waterfalls & investor reports, fund accounting
• Desire to help a company grow and improve
• Previous experience managing and coaching staff is required
