Job Title: Controller
Salary: $100,000 to $120,000, DOE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our non-profit organization. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. This role will play a key part in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization while supporting strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit accounting and a passion for supporting the organization's mission.

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and grants management.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the annual budget process and provide ongoing monitoring and analysis of budget performance.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning to support organizational sustainability.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to the Board of Directors and senior leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 5–7 years of accounting/financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a non-profit environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage Intacct) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
