We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Strategy to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Position SummaryOur client is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, Strategy (Hybrid – Columbus, OH) to support long-range planning, advanced financial modeling, and corporate development initiatives. This role partners closely with leadership to evaluate investments, assess M&A opportunities, and build strategic planning tools that influence the organization’s future direction.
Primary Responsibilities- Create and maintain financial models for forecasting, valuations, strategic planning, and capital decisions
- Support M&A and corporate development activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, research, and integration analysis
- Develop long-term strategic plans and financial roadmaps for the business
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and internal KPI trends
- Prepare strategy presentations and investment cases for senior leaders
- Provide insights that support capital allocation decisions, portfolio planning, and business prioritization
- Partner cross-functionally to evaluate strategic opportunities and risks
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, strategic finance, corporate development, investment banking, or related fields
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis capabilities
- Corporate development or M&A experience highly preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
