Staff Accountant

CORY is hiring an Accountant who is passionate about driving financial accuracy, supporting scalable processes, and contributing to a high-growth, technology-enabled property management platform. This individual will play a critical role in managing property-level financials, supporting the close process, and delivering actionable insights to leadership.

An innovative, technology-driven property management firm that leverages data, automation, and advanced analytics to optimize portfolio performance and inform strategic decision-making—built on a foundation of operational excellence and scalable infrastructure across multifamily.

• Oversee and manage monthly and quarterly close processes across a portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Prepare and review property-level financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses (actuals vs. budget and prior periods).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives across the portfolio.
• Assist with audit preparation, including compiling schedules and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve internal controls, and enhance system efficiencies.
• Prepare reporting packages and financial insights for leadership, including key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience within multifamily real estate
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

• Base salary starting at $75,000, depending on experience
